Lovely house which is very comfortable and well appointed. In a beautiful location near beaches and trails. Stunning view across the bay which is just a 30 sec walk up a little hill. Really the pictures don't even do it justice. Great for evening drinks. Gwyn the owner lives just next door and was very helpful in digging out the bbq for us and providing suggestions of things to do. Had a lovely week here exploring the area.   E 2021

 The property is set within generous gardens and is completely private. The property was clean, spacious and in a quiet setting,
and was well equipped with modern utensils and cooking equipment. Set half a mile between both Porthmadog and the little village of Borth-y-gest, the location is perfect for both coastal and Snowdonia activities.
There is a separate section of garden higher up that offers breath-taking views of the mountains, sea, sand-banks and the Glaslyn estuary. We spent much of our time at the top of the garden watching the sun rise and set. Missing it already!     S 2021

The property was immaculate. Kitchen was particularly well kitted out. Location was great for us as it was lovely and quiet but easy to access the town and surrounding areas. Views were stunning.    A 2021

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Coach House. It’s in an excellent location, close enough to the centre of Porthmadog but a nice distance from the busy high street. The comfort it offered was very welcome after a day exploring. It was a pleasure meeting Gwyn, he was attentive and ready to help if we needed anything. The Coach House is a spacious, light and immaculate venue. Tucked away from the busy town centre, but close enough to to walk into Porthmadog or Borth y Gest, it is an ideal retreat for a peaceful holiday. The views from the garden are amazing. Gwyn is very welcoming and has helpful advice about the surrounding area.The thoughtfully put together basket of provisions was much appreciated.   H 2021

Our family of 4 (2 young kids) had a wonderful stay at the Coach House. The house is perfectly situated right between Porthmadog and Borth, sitting high on the hill and offering fantastic views from the private sitting area. Super quiet and private - nice to sit and relax and not have the noise from town. Beaches and sandy coves were a very short walk (5-10 mins) in one direction, while Porthmadog High Street was in the other direction (5-10 mins). Lots of other beaches and more things to do a short car drive away (10-15 mins). Gwyn was a fantastic host - looked after us very well. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend! Beautiful house and location with stunning views! Me and 5 other friends stayed here and explored North Wales. Visited a variety of places from Conwy, Anglesey, Zipworld, Portmeirion etc. So nice coming back to this house and relaxing. Cooking a nice meal in the kitchen -plenty of local shops to choose from. We even got to try the local Indian & Chinese takeaway which were both lovely! We had drinks in the private garden on some of the evenings and just loved the views with the sunset. Went to a nearby town and enjoyed a lovely meal at Dylan’s too, would recommend that. Would defiantly stay here again next time visiting Wales! Thank you !!   KH Aug 2020

We had the perfect time at this idyllic spot. The property is spacious and was immaculate. Beautiful spot to sit outside with amazing views. There are mountains to one side and the estuary to the other. Very close to wonderful beaches and close to Porthmadog if you need provisions. The owner responded immediately to any questions we had and was on hand to offer helpful advice. We were there with a 16, 14 and 8 year old and there was ample space and plenty of places to explore nearby. We will definitely return.   EM Jul 2020
